The job interview can be a stressful and difficult time for many people, but with the right preparation and planing, it can be a rewarding experience. This is your opportunity to sell yourself. Its a time when the prospective employer can meet you face to face to evaluate you as a person, so try to make a good impression and don’t make some very simple mistakes that could cost you that job: |

Dress appropriately for the company/industry. Personal grooming and hygiene is very important. |

Know the exact location of the interview and the time it takes to get there. |

Arrive 5-10 minutes earlier than the interview time |

Greet the receptionist/assistant with courtesy and respect, this is where first impressions are made. |

Offer a firm and not limp hand shake with the interviewer |

Maintain good eye contact at all times, keep focused. |

Don’t fidget or slouch in your seat. |
